PONSONBY CARNIVAL.

PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY. Tho Ponsonby Queen Carnival and garden fete will be repeated at the Point Erin Park to-day. The whole of the previous programme will bo submitted, with a number of added attractions and patrons are assured of continuous entertainment from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. At the previous carnival some hundreds of children wore unable to gain admission, owing to the restrictions, but these have now been lifted and the grounds will bo thrown open to everyone free of charge. Included in the attractions will bo sideshows for old and young, jazzing to a full jiizz orchestra, numbers by the New Zealand quartette, and a fireworks display. During the evening the grounds will be brilliantly lighted by novel lighting effects. All the proceeds from the carnival will be devoted to tho Ponsonby Boys' Band toward their instrument and uniform fund.
