A BEAUTY HINT.
If you are troubled with a downy growth 011 your face, which threatens to become that much-dreaded disfigurement, a " growth of hair on the upper lip." got an ounce of bicarbonate of soda and dissolve it in 2oz. of distilled water. Put it in a bottle, and overy night dab the lotion over the growth, using a small pad of medicated cotton wool. Allow it to dry on the skin and remain on it all night. In the morning wash off with warm water. This is the very latest method of destroying an unwanted growth of hair, and has quite superseded the use of peroxide of hydrogen.
