The Association offers three:prizes £ 2 j>ni n an a £5 respectively for the best essays describing a scheme for the establishment of a Travelling College. Essays should deal with what the writers consider are the best methods of organising and conducting tours of youths with a view trv RfilectinC the most promising Students, and there giving thorn that, acquaintance with the arts and industries of other countries which is most likely to, promote ultimately the progress and expansion of tlio arts and industries of New Zealand. Prominent Educationists have consented to adjudicate. Chief weight will be, given to tho worth of the scheme proposed, but literary merit will also be taken into account. Essays must not exceed 2500 words and must be in the hands of the Secretary, Empire Buildings, Swanson Stroet, Auckland, by June 30, 1925. They must be sent in with a motto prefixed, but without the name of the writer attached thereto..
