WAIKATO BODY'S AFFAIRS. [Br TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J HAMTI/rON. Friday. The annual meeting of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held yesterday for the purpose of electing an executive committee, Mr. W. Newell presiding. The following members were elected as the executive: —Messrs. A. K. Alexander, A. Livingstone, T. Bellamy, T. Clarkson, R. Seddon, H. Windsor, P. Dingle, N. K. Taylor, W. Henry, W. G. Park, R. A. Hinton, and W. Gardiner. A supplementary or district committee, comprising the following members, was also elected: —Messrs. S. B. Grant, S. Reid, S. C. Macky, W. J. Hall, W. G. Kay, C. H. Macky, H. A. Miller, A. Johns, A G. Johnston, L. Carter. F. J. Bmme and R. B °lt k wts resolved to make strong efforts to have the 1926 Royal Show held in Hamilton, and to solicit the .support of the Agricultural and Pastoral Associations in the" South Auckland district. An en- x deavour is to be made to hold a conference of these associations in Hamilton during the Winter Show week, when the* matter will be fully discussed. The secretary was authorised to ascertain all the conditions necessary for and relating to the holding of a Royal show.
