The industrial disputes relate to tally- > men and upholsterers (in both of which ' a partial settlement has been arrived at), butchers, biograph operators, wiremcn and ' linesmen (electrical workers), labourers (local bodies' section), jewellers, painters and decorators, female bookbinders and dairy workers. Three applications will bo made to add parties to awards, and ono to amend an - award. There is also an application for the interpretation of the Hikurangi Coal Miners' Amendment, an application for exemption from the Butchers' Award and 36 applications from Hamilton and Morrinsville for exemption from the Shop Assistants' Award. 1 Compensation cases listed for hearing i number 14.
