DREAD OF OPERATION.
WOMAN HANGS HERSELF. Dread of an operation led to a woman's tragic death at Brentwood last , month. While tv vehicle was waiting to convey her to hospital for an operation, Mrs. V. Cook was found hanging dead in her bedroom, where she had been dressing in readiness for her journey. She had expressed a fear of the operation.
