REDUCTION OF BENEFITS. CABINET TAKING ACTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 8.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 13. It is stated in the Daily Herald that the Cabinet has definitely decided to use all possible administrative powers in order to reduce the aggregate amount of unemployment benefits. The Cabinet has appointed a committee to consider an amendment to the Act of 1913, empowering trade unions to impose a political levy.
