The Kaiwarra is to load a cargo of coal at Newcastle to-day for discharge at Miramar and Wellington. The Kakapo., which is berthed at the Western Wharf, is undergoing overhaul and survey. It is not certain when the vessel ■will be re-commissioned. En route from Southern ports, the Katoa sailed from Timaru at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesd®? for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The vessel is expected to clear Wellington to-day and is due at this port about Sunday morning. WAIOTAPU FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company advises that the Waiotapu, with cargo from Pacific Coast porta, was despatched from San Francisco at II a.m. on Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The vessel is expected at this port about March 2. THE TUTANEKAI. The Government eteamer Tutanekai ia due at Auckland this afternoon from Southern lighthouses. She will take aboard stores for Northern lighthouses to-morrow morning. It is uncertain wheiifehe will leave Auckland for the North THE TAIROA. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Line's steamer Tairoa is to leave Auckland on Monday evening for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, in continuation of her voyage. Besides discharging about 3000 tons of general merchandise from England, the Tairoa will load 11.000 boxes of butter before she sails on Monday. After discharge in the South the ■vessel will; also load there and then return to Auckland to complete. She is to bo despatched finally from this port for London about March 17.

MELBOURNE PASSENGER SERVICE. The Union Company's inter-Colonial passenger steamer Moeraki, which is delayed at Melbourne by crew trouble, is to withdraw for overhaul and survey on her arrival at Port Chalmers _ The Manuku will continue in the Mel-boume-WeHington-Soutb Island passenger and cargo service, leaving Melbourne for Wellington and Bluff direct on alternative trips. She is to leave Wellington for Melbourne direct to-morrow, and will leave Melbourne for Wellington direct on February '2l. SWAYNE AND I3OYTE STEAMERS. The local agents for the Swayne and i Hoyte Line, Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane. advise that the West Cahokia. is to leave San Franciaco on Saturday with cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland. Lyttelton. Dunedin and A us ; tralia. The vessel ia das at this port about March 11. Sho will bo followed from ban Francisco, on March 25, by the West Nayaria for Auckland, Wellington, and Australia, and on April IS, by the West lulus for Auckland, Dunedin and Australia. THE SCHOONER H. K. HALL. In readiness for her coming voyage the five-masted schooner H. K. Hall, was docked yesterday to have the lower part of her hull cleaned. The vessel will be undoeked to-day, when sho anchors in the stream to refit. Early next week a crew will be signed on and about the middle of the week the Bchooner will take her departure for Newcastle to load a . cargo of coal for Peru. Subsequently she is to load timber on the Pacific Coast for New Zealand or Australia. EXCURSIONS TO HONOLULU. New Zealanders wishing to make an excursion to a warm climate during the coming winter may travel in the Royal Mail steamers to Honolulu at reduced fares, according to announcements made by the Union Company. The steamers available will bo the Niagara, leaving' Auckland on Juno 9, the new raotor liner Aorangi. on July 7, and the Niagara on August 4, From Auckland to Honolulu takes ten days, and a call is made at Suva en route. Excursionists wishing to return to Auckland by the same steamer will be able to spend 19 days at Honolulu. The return fare, first-class, is £ 50. THE BARQUE ARIEL. t Now 143 days out from Marseilles, bound to Auckland, tho barque Ariel has not been reported since she ieft the French port on September 21. It was anticipated the voyage "would oocupy anything up t9 156 days, but it is expected the vessel will be reported at any time. The Ariel ia bringing a cargo of about 1100 tons of tiles. It was originally intended that she would discharge the cargo at Auckland and Wellington, but njr- " rangements have now been made for all tho cargo to be unloaded at this port, Messrs Robert Millar and Company are the local acent's.

THE TREBARTHA. The Hain Line steamer Trobarlha is to load dead-weight cargo at Port Pirie thence South Sea Inland to load copra for Europe. WAIHORA FOR NEWCASTLE. After discharging a, full cargo of coal at Auckland the Waihora sailed yesterday afternoon for Newcastle to load another cargo for a port not announced. MAHENO SAILS TO-MORROW. With passengers, mails and cargo * for Sydney, the Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maheno is to be despatched from Auckland at 11 a.m. to-morrow. THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR, The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Constructor is to leave Blulf to-day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland, to complete loading for New York. Boston and Halifax. The vessel is expected to leave Wellington on February 21 and Auckland finally on February 24. THE PORT MELBOURNE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne is due at Wellington from Gisbonse on Sunday to complete loading The vessel is to be despatched from Wellington on February 19 for London, via Montevideo. R.M.S MAUNGANUI REPORTED. The Royal Mai! steamer Mauuganui, en route from San Francisco, arrived at Papeete at 7 a.m. on Sunday and sailed the same day for RarotonKu, Wellington and Sydney. The vessel is due at Wellington on Monday, THE KUROW. The Kurow is expected to complete discharge oi her coal cargo to-morrow, when she will be despatched for Westport. thence to Wallaroo. Adelaide, and Melbourne to load general cargo for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton. THE KARORI. The Karon is to leave Westport to-morrow with a cargo of coal for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday. After discharge at this port the vessel goes to Newcastle. HERTFORD ARRIVED LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Federal Line steamer Hertford arrived at London from New Zealand on Sunday. The. vessel Bailed from Lyttelton on December 31. RtfAPEHU'S WIRELESS REPORT. A wireless message received on Monday from the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu. which sailed from Wellington for "Rest of England on February 3, reports "Fine weather and all well." RUAHINE CLEARED CURACAO. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine, en route to Southampton and London, with passengers, mails and cargo from New Zealand, arrived at Curacao on Sunday, and resumed her voyage next day. Tho vessel was despatched from Wellington on January 17. BIMUTAKA MEETS STORMY WEATHER. . 'The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Riinutaka. which sailed from Auckland last Thursday for America and England, reported by wireless on Monday morning that she was encountering a south-east gale, and the message added "all well." WAIRUNA SAILS TO-DAY. _ After discharging over 3000 tons of cargo, including 6 largo Quantity of case oil. from Pacific ports, at Auckland, the Union Company's trans-Pacillo steamer Wairuna is to sail this afternoon for Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney, in continuation of her voyage. ULOOLOO DUE NEXT WEEK. Under charter to tho Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the Adelaide Steam Ship Company's new steamer Ulooloo is due at Auckland early next week from New York. The vessel is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company are the local agents. SCHOONER DANEKONGE DELAYED, The Danish auxiliary schooner Danekonge, which is discharging Red Sea phosphates at Wellington, is delayed at that port for extensive repairs to her engines. The vessel is not expected to leave Wellington before February 20 for Auckland where she completes discharge. ROTORUA'S SAILING DATE. The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the liner Rotorua is scheduled to sail from Wellington with passengers and mails at noon on Saturday, February 21, for Southampton and London, via Panama and Curacao. PHOSPHATES FROM NAURU. After discharging her fifth cargo of phosphates from the Pacific at Auckland and having completed a teti-months' charter for the Union Company, the Hain Line steamer Trewyn is to leave for Newcastle at daybreak to-day to bunker before loading in Australia for Europe. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane , advise that they have fixed the Union Company's steamer Waihemo to load at Nauru about the middle of next month with a full cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland. The same firm has chartered tiio steamer Wanganella to discharge a part, cargo , of Nauru phosphates at Bluff after discharging a quantity at Newcastle first. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
