The Navua was expected to leave Dunedin yesterday for Auckland, via Southern ports. The' Northern Company's steamer Clansjnan. which has been laid up since last spring, will take up the northern run on Monday in place of the Nsapuhi. which is to relieve the Matangi on the : AucklandTauranga run.

The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Spinner, left Adelaide for Dunedin yesterday afternoon, and is expected at Auckland toward the end of the month to complete leading for New York. Boston and Montreal. I

The Canadian Challenger, which left Auckland on May 9, arrived at Brisbane on Wednesday and left yesterday for Sydney, in continuation of her discharge of cargo- from Atlantic Coast poit3, and is scheduled to return to Auckland some time in June to load for New York, Boston and Montreal. The Awahou sailed at 3.55 o'clock yesterday- afternoon for Tokomaru Bay. Tolaga Bay. and Gisborno. She is riv© back at Auckland on Tuesday.

The Mako. which is at present working East Coast ports, is due at Napier on Monday.

Company's cargo steamer Kaijapo. which arrived from VvalDoi© Island or. vVednesuay evening, berthed at the Queen's. Wharf yesterday morning to dis-cna-;ge about 2100 tons of guano. Owing to the unfavourable weather experienced at Waipoie island ' the vessel was unable to load for 13 days. Strong southerly winds and heavy seas were at their worst from April 2i to May 6 and the vessel wan forced either to cast-off her moorings and nufc to sea. or to cast-off her stern moorings and swing to a buoy. • She sailed from the island on May ■ 9, after a stay of' 22 days. Strong southesterly winds and south-westerly seas prevailed until the New Zealand coast was ■ reached. The weather then moderated. The Kakapo was originally to leave Auckland to-day for New Plymouth and Greymouth. but the _ shortaeo of railway trucks at the . wharf will probably prevent her leaving before to-morrow. THE WAR KRISHNA. .The Admiralty tanker War Krishna supplied oil fuel to H.M.S. Delhi at the princes Wharf yesterday and v.as later shifted into the stream. .

THE KARORL

The Karori is expected here at 3 a.m. to-morrow, from Westport. with a cargo of coal, part of which i 8 for H.M.S. Adelaide. On arrival the Karori will go alongside the Adelaide in the stream to discharge the coal.

THE PAKEHA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Pakeha is due here on Ma v *21 from Australia. After loading at Auckland she will call at Opua, Hicks Bay, Gisborne. Wellington, fort Chalmers, and Bluff, sailing from the last-named port on June 13.

THE PIAKO DUE ON TUESDAY. .The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Piako is expected at Auckland on Tuesday from Southern ports, to complete loading for West of England ports. She will probably sail from this port on May 23.

. ATUA LEAVES FOR NAPIER. The. Atua, which arrived from Southern porta on May 11„ with a quantity of cargo lor this port, sailed last evening at 8 clock for Napier, Wellington, and Dunedin.

'- THE MAHIA. The Shaw.. Savill and Albion Company's steamer Mahia. which left London on April SO. will arrive at Auckland about June 6 to discharge the undamaged portion of the Matatua s cargo.

THE TREWYN ARRIVES. The Hain steamer Trewyn arrived yesterday afternoon at 8.80 o'clock from Newcastle and berthed at the King's Wharf to discharge 6000 tons of coal. The Trewyn left Newcastle last Friday night, under the agency of the Union Company. The weather was fine throughout the voyage.

TOFUA ARRIVED YESTERDAY. The Island steamer Tofua arrived yesterday morning from Tonga. Samoa and Fiji, clearing the last-named port at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The voyage was uneventful and fine weather with moderate seas and southeasterly and southerly winds wa« experienced throughout the voyage. The T*ru& berthed at the Queen's Wharf to discharge her cargo of 14.000 cases of bananas, mostly from Fiji, 359 cases of mandarins from Fiji, and a. small Quantity of copra from Samoa. She is scheduled to sail at noon on Monday for the Western Pacific islands. THE CANADIAN LINE. The Canadian Constructor arrived at New York on May 5 from Auckland, having sailed from here on April 1. After- discharging at New York and Boston, the vessel left the latter port on May 13 for London. \ *. The Canadian Cruiser, which left Napier on Maroh 4, arrived at New York on April 7. sailing two days later for Boston, which she reached on April 11. On April 14 she cleared Boston for London, arriving on April 27. After a stay of six days at London the Canadian Cruiser proceeded to Hull, arriving there on May 4. The Canadian Miller sailed from Halifax on May 3 with a cargo of general merchandise. She is due at Auckland on June 14. The Canadian Scottish is expected to clear Vancouver on May 20 and is due at Auckland on June 20 with a cargo of timber. After discharging part of her cargo here she will proceed to Sydney and Melbourne to complete discharge.
