ON STRIKE FOR A DAY. ALL BUT (LEADERS RETURN. A. and N.Z. HOBART. Feb. 11. The crew of the Port Lyttelton, numbering 60, just before the vessel was due to sail from Launceston for Sydney on Saturday morning, demanded a special subsidy tfo work the ship. The skipper refused, and the men, declaring the vessel unseaworthy, left in a body and remained away until late on Saturday night, when, with the exception of the leaders, all returned. The steamer sailed yesterday morning.
