SUDDEN DEATH.
POSTMASTER AT WHAKATANII [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHAXATANE, Monday. Mr. G. T. James, postmaster at Whakatane, expired suddenly on Saturday evening at his residence, after leaving the office, dcr.th being due to heart trouble. Deceased, who was 53 years of age, was formerly stationed at Te Puke and at Thames.
