AUSTRALIAN PATIENTS.
| Sir,— Regarding the two Australians in V tho Auckland Hospital suffering from tunbercalosisj would it not be better if fe'-Mr. Wallace waited until the Pensions Board receives word from Australia i whether they will' guarantee our treatntot or not? Why tho rush? If w are §« burdens on the ratepayers, as Mr. Wal|M lace says, surely the ratepayers as a whole would not object to tolerating us a little $5 'while longer, fill we see how things life -shape. I have every reason for believing p.? that we will be provided for by the Aus|pV: tralian Government during the next | month. Surely we are entitled to a little $!& consideration. The statement to the hV.' effect that wo were arrested in the !l; : Domain is incorrect. A. E. Christian, i*. Auckland Hospital.
