At a. meeting of the Auokland Racing. Club Committee. Sir Edwin Mitchelson presiding, an application was read from the Auckland A. and P. Association to delete the service fee from the conditions relating to the club's special prise for thoroughbred entire and agreed to. Permission was given the Green Lane Cricket Club to make a practice wicket in the racecourse grounds on Green Lane. . , The following transfers were approved J— W. J. Jorgenaen to W. H. Edwards, Paula: A. Bymes to R. J. Harper, Dangle. The usual officials were re-appointed for the summer meeting. , . Accounts totalling £549 were passed lor payment, . .. A statement of accounts in connection with the spring meeting was laid on the table, and showed a very satisfactory reA* *nb-'ommittee was appointed to draft rules and regulations governing the use ox the tracks and training grounds at fillers- '■ The committee decided against the purchase of property for training tracks away from the racecourse.

BAY OP PLENTY JOCKEY CLUB. The programme issued by the Bay of Plenty Jockey Club in connection with the annual race meeting at Tauranga. on December 8 will require attention, from owners on or before Friday next, wnen nominations clone for all events at 6 p.m. These may be loosed either with the secretary, Mr. S. TAUMARUNUI RACING CLUB. The. Taumarunui Racing Club will hold its annual race meeting on Wednesday, December 12. The programme issued in connection therewith amounts to £900, with the Tauroarunui Cup of £230 and a, silver cup standing out as the leading event.
