While firing ..a furnace at a boiling-dowp works at Te Rapa yesterday Daniel Hart, aged 16, sustained severe burns. He was standing in front of the open furnace preparatory to throwing some coal on .the fire , when his foot slipped and he fell. Several pieces of burning coal fell on him, inflicting burns on his face, arms, and chest. He was admitted to the Waikato "Hospital;
