SETTLEMENT BY COUNTIES. NEW ZEALAND PIONEER, A. and N.Z. LONDON. Not. 6. A deputation from the counties of Kent, Devon, and Cornwall interviewed the Overseas Settlement Committee urging the establishment of more county areas in the Dominions. Colonel Kewcombe requested Government aid in raising loans for tho new areas. Mr. Bryant, a New Zealander, who is a member, of the Kent Committee, told of his 20 years' work in building a little Kent in New Zealand. Consideration of the points raised was promised.
