With the advent of warm ' sunny weather the quantity of cream coming info the Northern Wairoa Factory is showing a large increase, although it is ? not yet quite up to last year's tally. supplier, Mr. G. Downey, cf Oranga, forwarded 8341b. of cream to the factory on Monday, which is $ record for the district. A great improvement is noticeable in the quality of the cream this season. This is accounted for -by the testing of the cows, which is now practically universal, and last year's campaign by the Mangawhare Factory in connection with better methods of handling cream. on the farm.
