• The ; tone of the Auckland sharemarket yesterday was good. In New Zealand Government i securities War. Loans,'; 1927, changed . hands ,at • £98 10s,;. i with -''.:.' late buyers at £98. ss. Other loan issues had good demand; :at late rates. In debentures New - Zealand Breweries sold at £102, more being Quoted at same figure, buyers £101. In banks . New Zealands (new issue) -were done at 51s 3d, more being offered at that; price. For the old issue buyers offered 525, sellers asking 52s 9d. Nationals of New Zealand were sought at £6 163, sellers £6 18s. v Buyers of New : South Wales advanced • offers vto £41 2s 6d, no sellers responding. In insurances New Zealands / were wanted at ,29s 3d, pollers-30s 6d. South British were offered at 42s 6d, "without response. In gas Aucldands (cum new shares) were offered at 26s 6d, and the new : shares were looked for at 2s 4d. In .miscellaneous lines Abraham and Williams sold at 78s. In mining ; Moanataiaris hardened from Is 9d, sellers to 2s 6d, and from Is,3d, buyers to 2s. New Waiotahis- (7d paid) had sale at 6d. Waihis at 26s 9d were sought at 26s 3d. Grand Junctions at 6s were wanted at 5s 3d. :
