ALSATIAN OUSTS BULLDOG.

LONDON, Oct.' 5.

Over 2000 dogs in 55 classes were exhibited at the Kennel Club's show. They ranged" from St. Bernards to poodles weighing a few ounces. The King exhibited two Labradors in the retriever class. The total prizemoney is £100,000. The Daily Mail, in a leader, says:— "These days we keep more dogs, but they are smaller ; than the dogs of the Victorian era.
