CREMATION AT WAIKUMETE,
The funeral of the kte Mr. T. F. Cheese- '"v man, who died, at his residence, Market ' ■Road, on Monday, took place yesterday afternoon, when the * body was cremated ; at ; Waikumete. - The cortege, which left gl the city in the ' early afternoon, consisted' Vf \ of a number ;of v motor-cars- -containing • § prominent citizens ; and representatives of v§S civic, literary, ;scientific and art societies, who attended to pay "a last mark of respect "'■'■ Ito the distinguished scientist.
