Tuesday The criminal sessions of the Hamilton Supreme Court opened this morning before Mr. Justice Stringer, In his , charge to the Grand Jury, His Honor regretted that there was a somewhat heavy calendar, charges being preferred against ten different persons. For the most part the cases, were of a very ordinary character, but a regrettable feature was the charges, of theft by Government officials and other persons occupying official positions. There were iieven cases involving dishonesty and three sexual offences. True Bills were returned in the cases of Joseph Harrison Love, alleged forgery and theft at Tokaanu 5 Granville Hunt, alleged theft, false pretences, opening postal packets, and detaining postal packets at Rotorua.
