THE PAKUBANGA HUNT.
MEET AT EAST TAMAKI.
The Pakuranga Hunt met yesterdav at Green Mountain, East Tamaki, a large number of followers and spectators being present. The afternoon favoured speedy hunting, and hounds operated over a large area of country. Hares were found to be rather too numerous for a, steady chase' to eventuate, but nevertheless good ; sport was provided. ' Hounds were first thrown off on Mr. Barber's property, and during the afternoon several smart bursts took place. Among those who followed hounds were The Hon. Mrs. E. J. Blythe on Mack, .Mrs. W. Lichfield on Chum, Miss.F, McDonald on Kelpie, Miss C. E. Martin on Lady Chester, Miss E. Martin on Salome, Miss B. "Webster on Chum.
The master, Mr. H. Bullock-Webster, was on Dominion. M. T. . Allen on' Falva Bov, Mr. C. W. Anderson on "War Shot, Mr. B. H. Bishop on Viking, Mr. I. Blvth on Bluebell, Mr. J. Buchanan on Dionae, Mr. W. B. Lloyd on Long Range, Mr. IT. s Millington on Merry Girl, Mr. R. B. Neal on Nitrcrer. Mr. J. W. Peters on Gift, Mr. 0. Phillips on Lochar, Mr. F.. A.
