INFORMATION DISMISSED.
[BY TEI.EGBJIJH.— ASSOCIATION WELLINGTON, Wednesday.
"Can a person be charged with stealing his own property?" This question was raised in Court to-day when Charles O'Loughlin was charged with having stolen his own motor-car from outside a garage, where it had been left for repairs which had then been effected, and, owing to the: crowded state of the garage, the car had been placed on the street. O'Loughlin came along and took the car away without paying for repairs. Counsel for defendant) submitted that the garage man had no interest in the car, though -he • had a claim - for the cost of the repairs. . . ' . ' The case was dismissed.
