Mr T A. Black. B.Sc. business manager of the Mount Mitchell Mercury Mine Puhpuhi reports: The prospecting trench on the surface rim of ore has been cut nearly 400 ft to date. A fourth ore shoot has Ler.mat, and ore ' has _bee» .carried for the last 80ft' driven. This has .not yet been assayed, but, appears very sumfar to the three ore shoots previously reported A cable request for an. option on the property was recently received from London but was declined pending further advice from America on the use of mercury for large power installations ; ;
