NEED FOR POPULATION.
POSITION OF QUEENSLAND. Speaking at Gladstone, the Premier of Queensland, Mr. Theodore, said it was essential that the State should bo developed. There was room for 10,000,000 people in the State. Australians must not close their eyes to the fact that Eastern countries were over-populated, and those races,,, were awaking. That was a situation which appealed to Queensland oat than any of tie other States.
