NEW POINTS OF CHANGING.
ALTERATION FROM ;: TO-DAY.
An alteration in the method of changing the destination signs "of the Auckland tramcars will come into force to-day. The signs on . the ': following - ; routes ■ will -;.' be changed for the outward trips while cars are on the inward trips at the following points.—Epsom j Mount Eden, Dominion Road, and -Valley Road cars,; at , the intersection of Symonds Street and Wellesley Street, opposite St.- Paul's Church ; Victoria 'Avenue,' Onehunga, Mount Albert, Morningside, Kingslana, :and-! Grey Lynn cars,' opposite l the ■: Town ; Hall. Ponsonby cara: In Wellesley : Street West, opposite St. Matthew's Church. Heme Bay and Ponsonby -depot cars: At the intersection of Victoria 'Street West and Hobson Street, v For some time: past the destination signs have • not been " changed until v? the cars reach the foot of Queen' Street. > The management states ■■ that the object of '"the change is to i enable people ) in any , part of Queen Street to ascertain the destination of the cars as they pass rHwn that street.
