A FIVE-LEAF CLOVER.
Sir,— the Herald of Saturday there appeared a paragraph describing the fiveleaf clover as a rarity, one of which is reported ;to be found in Remuera. I may state that . a five-leaf clover is not as rare as some people imagine. I was staying in Remuera just five years ago. and while strolling along the different roads, I found several five-leaf clovers, and quite a large number of four-leaf clovers. Clover apparently grows luxuriantly in many of Remuera's streets— whether it is any special kind or not, I do not know, but I have never found so many four-leaf clovers as I did in Remuera, and only in one other place have I found a five-leaf clover. -Interested.
