Millard has selected the following team to represent the New Zealand Universities in' matches against the Sydney . University— Fullback, " Robertson (Canterbury); threequarters, Diack, Murray,.. Mac Donald (Otago), Riggs, Malfroy 'Wellington) ; five-eighths, Townsend (Otago),. Arkle, Hardy (Auckland); halfbacks, Brodie (Canterbury), Hopkins < (Auckland) ; forwards, Millar,. Booker (Auckland), C. B. Thomas, Mcßae, MartinSmith (Wellington), Jackson, Watson (Canterbury), Hart, Stevenson (Otago). The team will sail from Auckland next week, and is due to arrive at Sydney on May 14. The New Zealanders will play the following matches:—May 16, Metropolitan team, -at ; Manly; May 19, first test . match against combined universities, at University Oval; May 23, Manly, at Manly: .May 26, second test match; •June 2. third test match; June 4. combined New Zealand and Sydney Universities v. New South Wales.
