HUGE PURCHASES MADE.
f / . LONDON, April 19. A Pliiladelphian book collector, Mr.. Rosenbach, has sailed for New York after spending £200,000 in England and £55,000 in France and Italy, since February 25, in the purchase of private collections of books sold by auction, and consisting of 16tli century literature, destined, for private collections in America. .
