They j fell on their knees and began to chant | Greek Orthodox, hymns whenever Tikhon's. name was mentioned. The' prelates and their' followers were ultimately forced to abandon the fight and withdraw, and the remarider . thereupon adopted a 1 resolution virtually '; demanding the death penalty.
