SUICIDAL STRIKE POLICY. A. and N.Z. LONDON, April 28. Mr. Neville Chamberlain, Minister for Health, speaking at a meeting of the Alliance of Employers . and Employed in Birmingham, regretted the -signs of revival of industrial strife. Such disputes, ho said, seemed senseless and suicidal to the public • because, while depleting resources they ended in compromise which might, have* been secured without & stoppage of work.
