AUSTRALIAN LABOUR GOAL.
RED OBJECTIVE REAFFIRMED
{STRIKE-BREAKING A CRIME. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed- 8.5. p.m.)" SYDNEY, April 30. A joint conference of delegates of the Australian Labour Party and representatives of trades unions reaffirmed the Bed, or Socialistic, objective adopted at Brisbane in 1921. 'The conference resolved that the following planks be inserted in the Labour platform:—That, it be made a criminal offence for outsiders to take the place of strikers during a strike, punishable by imprisonment up to six months; that registration of loyalist unions formed since the 1917. maritime strike be cancelled ; and that members of trade unions while locked out receive full maintenance.
