ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES.
DECREASES IN APRIL.
The number of persons who arrived at Auckland from overseas last month was 769, compared with 1041; in April, 1922, a decrease of 272. The departures numbered 1275, compared with 1770 during the previous April, a decrease of 495. The arrivals last month included 14 Chinese and the departures 12 Chinese and 1 Indian, In the previous April four Hindus and four Chinese arrived and 10 Hindus and five Chinese departed.
