PARISHIONERS' MEETINGS.
ST. PAUL'S CHURCH. The annual meeting of parishoners of St. Paul's Church was held on Thursday evening. The vicar, Rev. C. A. B. Watson. presided. The annual report and balance sheet showed good progress had Been made. The general offerings were slightly smaller, than those of the previous year, but the missionary quota had been 'well exceeded. The building completion fund showed steady . augmentation, and now stood at £1450. The total indebtedness of the parish . was 1 £1822. Authority was given to the new vestry to borrow up to £500 for alterations anu. renovation of 'the parish properties. The vicar was granted leave of absence, for three weeks, with expenses paid, to visit the Church Congress in Christchurch. Mr. A. D. Stanley was appointed vicar's warden. The (following officers were elected People's warden, Mr. E. C. Thomas; vestry, Mesdames Hardie Neil and Stratford, Messrs. Armitage, Hadlovr, Horsley,; Howes, Jilling, : Litt, Michel and Stratford; auditor, Mr. C. Cork. ST. ALBAN'S. DOMINION ROAD. The annual meeting of the . parishioners of St. Alban's Church, Dominion Road, was largely attended. The vicar, the Rev. H. B- Wingfield, presided. The balance-sheet showed a small credit on all accounts. In regard to the new memorial tower, the report stated that the parish had put much energy into its efforts to provide a permanent church for future . generations. Votes of thanks ■were passed; to the vicar and other church workers, and fitting reference was made to the late Messrs.' T. T. Stokes, G. W. Woods, and A. Grade. . The following officers were elected :—Vicar's ■warden, Mr. C. D. Young.; people's warden, Mr. R. Hulse; vestry. Mrs. Gledhill, Mrs. Fowler, Miss Jackson and Messrs. Boldero, Bartlett, G. Bartlett, J. L. Hulse, Brindle, Partridge, 'and E. Partridge.
