NEED FOR SPECIAL HOMES. SUPPORT BY . MINISTERS- ( The question of "borderland" mental cases was considered yesterday by the Auckland Ministers' . Association. The Rev.; D. D. Scott- presided. The : following resolution was passed:—; "That this meeting desires to express its sympathy , with tho ' efforts now being, made for the establishment of observation wards, apart from menial" hospitals, for the incipiently insane and those susSected .of wring so. It hopes that the overnment; will ; give this matter prompt and earnest consideration. . . It hails with pleasure the establishment of such institu- , tions its the Maudsley Hospital, London, ' where, by its up-to-date methods,, patients may be treated not as mental cases, but as sick persons."
