GERMAN WORKERS' APPEAL
PROTEST TO AMERICA^
A. and N.Z WASHINGTON, April 20. Senator W. E. Borah has received a letter from Herr Knoll, secretary of the General Federation of Trades Unions of Germany, which he states represents 6,000,000 workers, protesting against the French occupation of the Ruhr, which he declares is annexationist and a violation of the rights of the German nation.
He adds that the workers of Germany will prevent the re-establishment of the monarchy with their life blood, and believe, above all, in ex-President Wilson's doctrine of self-determination.
