Etallworthy. Council (nine seats) : Messrs. Bowman. Clear, Campbell, Smith. McLean, Paul, Gregory, Dargaville, Carrington, Lloyd, Finch. Hospital Board : Mr. J. Brady.

POWER AND HOSPITAL BOARDS. [bt telegraph.—ora correspondent.] MOBRINSVJLLE,, Sunday. The only nomination for the Morrinsville representative on the Thames "Valley Power Board was that of Mr. G. Howie. This is the first time Morrinsville has had direct representation, as formally it was coupled with Matamata, Messrs. J. B. Thomas (Morrinsville) and G. F. Dickenson (Cambridge) hav* been nominated for the combined districts of Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Cambridge and 'Te Awamutu Boroughs for the Waikato Hospital Board. There is only one vacancy. Mr. Dickenson is tha sitting member, having been on tha board for a number of years.

FOUR ASPIRANTS IN FIELD. [ar TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TAUMARCNUT. Saturday. Four candidates have been nominated for the mayoralty—Messrs. C. C. Marsack (the sitting Mayor), A- S. Laird, G. F. Thompson, and R. B. Williams. No election is necessary for the council, the required number being nominated as follows :—-Messrs. P. C. Brew, S. R. Dry land, H. H. Gunthorp. T. E. Mason, M. Potaka, A- E. Seaton, D. B. Tacon, J. E. Ward, and J. S. Williams.
