TELEGRAPH DISLOCATION.
SEVERAL LINES DOWN.
There has been a certain amount of telegraphic and telephonic dislocation as a result of the recent storm. Last evening the lines between Auckland and To Kuiti were down, as well as that between Tauranga and Opotikuand Whakatane. It is possible that thdre may be other interruptions to the services, but as a number of country stations do not open for business on Sunday the full effect of the storm on the rural communications was not known yesterday.
