IRISH CHANNEL STRIKE.
DEADLOCK AT CONFERENCE. EMPLOYERS INSIST ON "CUT." (Received 5.5 p.m.) Renter. LONDON, April 19. A. conference with the Ministry of Labour with a view to settling the strike of crews on the Irish Channel service ended in a deadlock. Shipping continues idle. The employers insist that the seamen and firemen must accept the national wage "cut" already accepted in England and North Ireland.
