AIMS OF CHIROPRACTIC.
Over 300 people attended a lecture on the aims of chiropractic, delivered by Mr. J. W. Fletcher in the concert chamber of the Town Hall on Thursday, unaer the auspices of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand, Chiropractors' Association. , The Hon. J. G. Garland presided. Mr.' Fletcher dealt at length with the philosophy and fundamental principles upon which : this new ; health science was founded. He said the brain controlled all functions through the nervous : system. Dealing with the germ theory, he quoted medical authority to prove the chiropractic contention that germs were the result of .disease," and not the cause -of ' it. : ; The speaker also claimed that the chiropractic method .of analysis was superior to medical diagnosis. He i concluded by stating that chiropractors were out to give the blessings of health to all who ; desired it. ; Several . people in the audience ' gave testimony to benefits received from S chiropractic adjustment. , :
