AUCKLAND WINTER SHOW.

WORK OF JOINT COMMITTEE. SCHOOL EXHIBITS COURT. A meeting of the joint committee of the Agricultural and Pastoral and the Industrial Associations to consider matters relating to the forthcoming Auckland Winter Show was held yesterday. The president. of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Mr- E. D. McLennan, presided. ~ . A letter was received from the Auckland Barbour Board stating that the date fixed by the association for the opening of the show, July 17, was suitable. Three sheds at least would be available on thei Central Wharf, probably four. A deputation from the Educational Committee requested that one of the sheds be allotted to' it for school exhibits and • that special trophies be provided for the education al section.
