WINTER FARM SCHOOL.

INSTRUCTION AT RUAKURA. Fifteen applications have already been received for the winter course for farmers to be given at Ruakura Farm, Hamilton, during the week commencing June 11. The courses are provided by the Department of Agriculture at the slack period of the year, so that busy farmers and stockowne'rs can devote a limited time to study and intensive practical instruction. The popularity of the _ schools has grown rapidly since their establisHmest at Ruakura, about four years ago. Several schools will be held " {hi* year in the North Island, while as far south as Otago the farmers have followed the lead given by Auckland.
