GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last night as follows: —The indications are. for variable breezes, moderate to strong ■ north-east to north-west prevailing ; weather fair, but with increasing cloudiness generally, and dull and misty in northern and southernmost districts.
