FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. A. and N.Z. LONDON, March 2. There was a crowded house at the third session of the final match for the amateur billiards championship betwaen Graham Symes (holder) and W. P. McLeod. It was a ding-dong fight, with the lead constantly changing. At the close of the session McLeod's score was 2000, including breaks of 121 and 70, with 60 off the red. Symes' score was 1841, including breaks of 88, 48, and 40. McLeod was the runner-up in the amateur billiards championship last . year, Symes defeating him by 3000 to 26b1.
