'. The Mount. Roskill ■'.• Road Board met on Tuesday evening. There were present Messrs. G. E. Tsinflloy (chairman). J. J. Preston, 8. Scarborough, H. Luke, E. J. Herd, arid W. Brewer The following tenders were received for water • extension -to the Islington Estate from Mount Albert '- Road, av. distance of about three miles:—For -■■> material and labour. John Burns and Company, £3164 4s: for material only, Messrs. Kidd * and Garrett. £2297 2a 2d; A. and T. Burt, £2228 lis lOd: J. Duthie nnd Company, £2i62 18s sd; J. Burns . and Company, £2156 7s 4d; A. D. Riley and Company,' £200(. la 6d. For labour only: W. Crowley. £ 186!} 2s; W. Woolley. £1848: Brierly and Redfern. ■:£ 1251 17s: A. B. Brodie, £1160 2s 8d; H. Mood.v. £1014 17s: Mitchel and Dyson,. £1010 17« i H. Yardley. £898, Clark and Dalley. £770 Bs. The board accepted Messrs. A D. Riley >nd Company's tender for materia) and Messrs. Clark and Dalley's for labour. It was> resolved.
