SCULLING.
THE WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP. HADFTELD MAY CHALLENGE. It is proposed to send Daroy Hadfield. the ox-world's sculling champion, to Australia to contest the world's title against Paddon, the present holder, in the hope of regaining the honour for New Zealand. A working committee has been formed to organise the raising of the amount required. 'Wanganui, which has raised a sum of £600, is prepared to again sup:>ort Hadfield, provided Auckland will supplement it with £400.
