NEW MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS.

The proposal to raise a loan of £12,500 for the erection of municipal buildings for the Newmarket Borough was carried by the substantial majority of 275 votes at the poll of ratepayers yesterday. Considerable interest was taken in the pro. posal, about half the number of rate. : payere on tho roll exercising their right to vote.
