CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.. (Reed. 5-4 pan.) WASHINGTON. June 16. The Postmaster-General and Mr. A. D. Lashnor, chairman of the United States Shipping Board, conferred to-day concerning the Oceanic Steamship Company's request for renewal of its miiilcarrying contract with the United States Government. Another meeting will be held on Monday, and will be attended by shipping experts.
