.» — OPPOSITION JO WOOL DUTY. PROTEST FROM CLOTHIERS. A. and N.Z. CHICAGO. June 16. The National Association of Retail Clothiers, which claims to handle 60 per cent, of the wool consumed in the United States, has inaugurated a campaign against the 33 cents per lb. duty on imported wool now before the Senate. The association claims that the duty would increase clothing prices by three to five dollars per suit.
