NORTH ISLAND'S SHARE. THE DISTRICTS COMPARED. SMALL SOUTHERN PRODUCTION. . [BX TELECBAriI.—-OWN COBBESFONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Thursday. In a circular letter to co-operative dairy companies Mr. T. C. Brash, secretary of the National Dairy Association of New Zealand, Ltd., says: — "At various meetings regarding the proposed compulsory control of dairy produce, the writer has used figures snowing the quantities and percentages of dairy produce from the different ports of New Zealand. He has had several requests for these to be sent out in the way of a circular to all our members, and herewith gives the particulars asked for. You will note the percentages of cheese and butter are set out, and also the production of. butter-fat as represented in 'both butter and cheese. The figures qu which the per. centages are worked are for 12 months ending March 31, 1922, and are supplied by the dairy division The butter graded for the year ending March 31, 1922, was: — Peroentate Tons. of total.
