The State Supreme Court ruled as unconstitutional that portion of the California alien land law, which . forbids aliens ineligible for citizenship to act as guardians in respect to agricultural lands of thoir American-born children. A Japanese named Yano sought guardianship in the personal estate of his infant daughter.
